Extract certain files and directories from an archive

Hello,
Is it possible to browse and/or list a fsarchive and to extract certain files and directories (instead of whole partitions)?
I would like to backup my whole computer and then completely reinstall my computer. Most likely one day I will find out that I need certain files, then I want to be able to get those files from my full system backup.
My current system uses ext3. When I reinstall my computer I would like to use ext4. Furtermore my current system is diveded in a lot of partitions. When I reinstall my computer I only want one or two partitions. So I don't want to restore partitions, but I want to restore certain files from multiple partition backups to the partition that I will create when I reinstall my computer.
FSArchiver supports ext4 and can restore files that are backed up from a ext3 filesystem to a ext4 filesystem. It can also compress the backups. So that's great.
But I couldn't find any information about how you can list and/or browse the directories and files in a FSArchive. Or how you can extract certain files and directories from a FSArchive. Therefore I have these questions:
