Re: systemd: oper_save.c#947,filesystem_mount_partition():

I don't see this in openSUSE (using systemd).

21 1 8:3 / / rw,noatime - ext4 /dev/sda3 rw,data=ordered

Just in case: systemd-44

Re: failure to compress

Music and video files have been already compressed.
So, no chance to compress them more than 5%.

Re: fsarchiver deleted the whole filesystem

/tmp/fsa.. is a mount point of your partition.
fsarchiver temporary mounts a partition to backup.
So I did "rm -rf /tmp/fsa..
You have removed files yourself.

Re: openSUSE packages

fsarchiver is accepted to openSUSE Factory (testing version) and will be present in the main OSS repository openSUSE 12.1 (November 2011).

Thanks the Author for a good program.

Incorrect Free Software Foundation address in COPYING

"675 Mass Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139, USA" is outdated.
The new address is "59 Temple Place, Suite 330, Boston, MA 02111-1307 USA"

FSF and GNU sites are down at the moment. Found the address here.

Re: Access Problems

I think, you should use ntfs-3g for rw access.

Code: Select all

ntfs-3g /dev/sdb1 /backup
