Ok, four hours into it, still analyzing, so I canceled. This just isn't going to work. I am going to have to find another tool. Maybe partclone, but I had a CRC error the last time I tried to use it with compression, so I'm a little concerned.

Ok, I decided to try again and just let it run. We are at 2 hours and counting, still no files backed up yet.

I have a 200+GB root drive that I wanted to backup with fsarchiver. I started it with appropriate options and received a message indicating the filesystem was being analysized.
