Hi,
i recently posted this
http://www.fsarchiver.org/forums/viewto ... =14&t=1075
about 2 errors fsarchiver reports on hardlinks restoring ntfs partition.
i launched the program with -v option to have detailed infos, but in the end had no hint of what 2 files had errors restoring
now i had to relaunch it, redirecting (with 2>) to a txt file, and will dig (it's running) through the huge txt to find details and hopefully solutions (will report on that post) but i am missing an option to log every and just "errors" to a txt file, for later inspection, i think it is much needed and easy to implement.
Could you consider this?
Thanks, Marco
an option to log errors to file is needed
Re: an option to log errors to file is needed
You just have to use option -d (similar to -v but writes details in the logfile instead of the screen)
Re: an option to log errors to file is needed
ouch... sorry, i missed that: in fact, it was too strange not to have it :-)
