maybe an alternative to "single file restore"

Post by frank_p_de » Tue Dec 15, 2009 12:45 pm

Hello admin, members,
as an alternative to a single file restore function, I think the possibility to mount an fsarchive (e.g. like an ISO- or dd - image via fuse or loop) could solve this issue and also improve the tool and it's flexibility in case of a restore.
Regards
Frank

Unfortunately the archives are not mountable and won't be. Such a project would be interesting but it's more a filesystem such as squashfs, with more attributes and checksums.
