GPT partition support

Post by msetzerii » Fri Apr 20, 2012 7:21 pm

Recently did an install of Fedora 16 on a disk that had been fully wiped, and noticed that it had setup the disk using GPT partitions in contrast to the older partition format. Noticed that the fsarchiver probe would only show the one partition, where cat /proc/partitions would show others.

Wondering if there is a plan to add this support?

Answer to my own question... Wasn't an issue with fsarchiver, but that I didn't have the EFI options set in the Kernels of my live CD, so it was only seeing the stub (?) partition. WIth the EFI options added to the kernel, the partitions now show up.
