I'm using fsarchiver to backup & restore my entire OS on my Raspberry Pi, and found it very reliable and easy to use.
An open source project which I'm involved with distributes a ready to use system image file to expand into a 4GB SD card, for an easy set up route.
I was thinking that fsarchiver would reduce download bandwidth and also avoid a lot of issues currently being encountered.
However, a number of members are using Windows computers to burn the image to the SD card.
Is there a way to extract a fsarchiver archive to a SD card using a Windows computer (without using a Live Image disk)?
Please ask questions here if you are not familiar with fsarchiver

fsarchiver is a linux application and will never run on Windows. It would be far too much work to rewrite as it is a system application which depend on lots of things which would be very different on windows.
