Post by Shivaramakrishnan » Sun Jul 15, 2012 9:22 pm

This is irritating me.
I created a VM with centos 5.5 with required partitions.
I created a archive of a partition of the server running centos 5.5.The archive was created with no errors.
I am trying to restore the archive created .While the restoring I am getting the following error:
ON VM:

Which type of livecd are you using ? You simply need an execution environment which comes with an up to date version of e2fsprogs in order to create an ext4 filesystem. You can use SystemRescueCd which comes with all up to date fileystem tools and fsarchiver (including a 64bit version in case it needs a lot of memory).
